Komodo Trip Options
A 4days 3nights on a wooden boat through north sumbawa and and the komodo Islands.

Tour program & activities

The tour is a full live on board sailing experience with many activities such as snorkeling, hiking, hunting for the Komodo dragons and searching for the whale sharks! There is loads of time for sunbathing, sharing stories, watching endless panorama views, seeing multiple sunrises and sunsets, lots of sailing, and swimming. Every boat will include their own tour guide who will guide you through the amazing spots.

Departures are Wednesdays and Saturdays

Day 1 :  BANGSAL - KAYANGAN HARBOUR- KENAWAISLAND

  • CHECK-IN between 8:30 - 10:00  in Bangsal Harbour.

  • After a briefing we will have a 2 hour long bus drive (depending on traffic) to East Lombok where our boat will depart.

  • Activities: swimming, sailing, hiking

Day 2 : Whale Shark point (also known as Saleh Bay in Sumbawa)

  • On the hunt for the whale sharks during snorkeling.

  • Activities: swimming, sailing, sunbathing.

Day 3 : KOMODO PARK - PINK BEACH - LONG BEACH - PADAR ISLAND

  • Visiting the legendary Komodo dragons during a tour guided hike at Komodo Park. Watch out! Before you know it you’re standing eye to eye with a Komodo dragon!!

  • Hiking the hills on Padar Island for sunset and sunrise on the boat.

  • Sailing towards Island

Day 4 MANJARITE - KELOR ISLAND - LABUHAN BAJO

  • Island hopping for snorkelling, sunbathing, beach games, and relaxing.

  • Arriving in Labuhan Bajo ETA between 1400-1500PM (depending on the weather and current).

Both the companies offer the same program and service in a similar boat. The only real difference is their communication skills and clarity of organisation. And also the price.

Kareem travels with boats that have the capacity for 30 to 40 people – all depending on the size of the boat. All our boats have a simple shower (freshwater), although a dip in the ocean is preferred by most guests.

Unfortunately, we cannot always know beforehand which boat we will sail. This all depends on which boat is where and the number of guests. Sometimes we sail with two or more boats at the same time.

All our boats are equipped with lifejackets and lifeboats are installed for your safety in the unlikely event of an emergency. However, attending our boat trip is still at your own risk

  • Three Indonesian meals a day (vegetarian/vegan options are available) and snacks. Please, let your tour guide know if you have any dietary requirements*.

  • Unlimited coffee, tea and mineral water.

  • Beanbags

  • Charging points for electronic devices (we use solar energy).
